Fog'd up my room and took some beamshots. My new DSLR does a way better job than my old camera. And its RAW format captures the colors perfectly!

Enjoy!

Awesome shots! A bit of a suggestion for you: instead of fogging up the room and snapping the pics try setting your DSLR on a tripod and use a shutter speed of 20-30 seconds. You want the room to have no other light sources and set your ISO to 100. I personally prefer the smaller apertures as well, but that is up to you. I think in another thread you mentioned you have a Canon lens so I'll assume you have a Canon DSLR. Which one did you get?

The benefit to not fogging up the room is you get to skip out on the haze which can give you a cleaner looking picture.

You are able to capture the color better(note the whiting out of the beam in haze photos) and also your environment looks clear because it is. Just a couple suggestions. I love shooting RAW :) Glad to see others who do too.

*disclaimer* I am by no means professional, my opinions bove are just what works really well for me. If anyone of the beamshot gods disagree with me listen to them instead :p

Weather permitting, I might do some more outdoor beamshots. If I can find a good place to put it, might even bring the 473 labby out and see how bad the divergence is at long distance XD
