Lithium batteries, then sodium batteries, it was only a matter of time until potassium hit the table. I wonder how it stacks up against the other cell chemistries in terms of the availability of supporting materials necessary to make it into a battery.

Can't wait until we get all the way up to rubidium and cesium batteries. At this rate won't be too long.

How about some nuclear batteries?

I have to laugh when I read about the prospects of using one of these to power a cell phone. Yes, they last a long time, but the output is dismal. Get back to me when someone makes one that can put out 1 watt. Presently they have outputs in the 100s of microwatts.

Given how disposable tech is these days, I'm not sure I want electronics to have nuclear material in them
If we put nuclear batteries in things, it will only be a matter of time before some seagull eats enough of them to go critical and level a small beach.
