Well yesterday I posted and today I went to check for new replies and it's not there. I remember this occurred some time in past. Wonder if it started again. I am sure I saw my post there, but as I said, today it was not there :thinking:

I was actually thinking I was losing my mind, but when I checked this morning, I think I had a popup saying I had a new PM from JoeySS for one of the 635 lasers. However when I went to check I didn't have anything new.

I have been working all night along, so I really thought it didn't actually happen. I've resent a message to Joey to see what he is interested in, but having seen this thread makes me wonder if things are missing again.
 
I know for a fact some threads are missing. One I would have liked to copy information from and pictures seeing as I bought the laser, but currently have no decent camera:(
 
Is the entire thread missing?

Is there a "note" left that says sometihng like "thread deleted by daguin . . . "?

Threads get deleted and members get banned without notice. ALWAYS collect contact info from someone you are doing business with.

I noticed odd behavior yesterday also ...

EVERY post that I made at some point yesterday afternoon "turned into a double post" on it's own. I deleted the "doubles".
 
@ daguin, afair the title of the thread was " Hello World" . Can you lookup something with that name?

I see no "hello world" back at least two weeks.

When a moderator deletes a thread or post, there is a "note" left showing who did it (and usually why he did it)

When the admin deletes a thread or post, it completely disappears.

If there is no trace left of the thread, then c0ldshadow decided it needed to be deleted.

No. He doesn't always tell us why. Nor would I expect him to. If c0ldshadow deleted it, you can be sure it was because of some violation of the TOU.

Trust me on this one, c0ldshadow is MUCH nicer than me :eg:

Did it get moved? Have you searched for the content?

WOW! Sometimes the eyes are opened but still can't see. It was right there at the top of the page. :o

The member was banned and the threads deleted because of the member registering more than one account and posting identical threads and posts from both accounts

Entire thread is missing... No Note.

Transaction went smoothly, and I know member isn't banned (it's GBD - great guy) I think the thread disappeared in all those server glitches. Was just very annoying not being able to find it for reference as I was testing out my new laser.

In dealing with members here, in some cases I've taken risks... got burned once so far... doesn't change how I approach things... with caution, and an open mind:)

If it was GBD, then you are probably right. We "stepped back in time" a bit with the migration :whistle:
