Hello everyone! Kilter here, post your watch collections! I am an avid watch collector and repairer. This obsession almost beats out my laser obsession...almost.....

My collection at this point consists of:
Casio beater (maroon face, love this one!)
Vintage Vulcain 17 jeweled winder (broken, finding stem for it now)
Replica Breitling for Bentley
Swiss Army Vintage quartz (ronda 515 swiss movement)
Armitron diamond quartz (Miyota movement!)
*** SEIKO 5 BLUE FACE MODEL AUTOMATIC!!!***
Some other random cheapo stuff :)
(Camera was broken, so no pics :( )
Post yours down below!

Edit: Sold a few cheapies on eaby for 15 bucks a pop :) Future buisnessman here! :P

*Ahem Movado...

My favorite watch that i don't have:
Jaeger Lecoultre Reverso:
For those that don't know, they are reversible mechanical watches from a big name quality swiss manufacturer.
Starting at 3000 for a leather strap no face on the other side of the reversible watch. (Chrono24, Ebay)

Thx but, it has no value..... at all.
I bought it for like $10 on sale at Walmart

Btw those watch pictures look amazing!
Always loved the look of analog clocks. Iv'e been looking around from time to time to see if I could find a watch with working gears visible through the glass. I like shiny gears :p

Men's Waterproof Black Leather Automatic Watch with Strips Indicate Time Silver Round Hollow Dial (SILVER & BLACK) | Everbuying.com
It is mechanical and automatic so you don't have to wind everyday (if you wear everyday.)
If you don't, just give it a few shakes and set the time.
Pretty cheap too, but probably wont last you too long
14.99

Or you can check out this one, http://www.dx.com/p/shenhua-9444-st...ical-analog-wrist-watch-for-men-silver-324307
It has minimal parts and is very cool!
39.99

Here's a more expensive but higher quality one. Stuhrling is a mushroom brand that says their swiss, but not really. More Chinese parts then swiss. Some Japanese parts too.
better than the above one though.

I will post to this later even though it will be a bit of an embarrassment due to the # of units lol.
Don't have anything like it now but I used to have a nice Rolex. I say used to and there's a story behind it.
My father had given me a Rolex about 20 years ago that was his that I wore only on special occasions. I ended up out of work (on Workers Comp.) about 10 years ago and they ended up cutting my $ way down so there wasn't enough to live on. Sold it to a jeweler because you do what you have to to survive and got a fair return on it.
About 4 months ago my father wanted to borrow it. Yeah, it was tough telling him I sold it. Had hoped he would never ask about it.
Don't have anything like that anymore but do have a lot of watches as I wear them to go along with whatever else I put on. Everything from very large Invicta to Chinese cheapos thru ebay.
I grew up wearing a watch so for me, I don't feel right not wearing one. Actually look at my watch for the time and not my phone even though I of course set them by the phone time;)
Anyways, I'll have to lay them out and take a pic even though it will look kind of ridiculous.

Hey thanks for the links! I'll have to check those out!

Before anyone asks, there are 131:eek:
Most of the more expensive ones I sort of didn't pay for. Used birthday and Christmas money and many were given to me that my father had found from his 70+ years in various locations all over his house. Last time I talked to him he said he had found a Lassale that was worth about $500 to give me. Doubt there's any more around at this point. Some came from buying a few watch "lots" for cheap on Ebay and the rest I purchased at some point.
I treat all of them the same regardless of value (like my lasers). Believe in being a good steward and taking care of things.
I absolutely realize that this will seem nuts to most people but I never said I wasn't lol. If anyone wants moor of an explanation of any of them just ask.

This cruddy pic shows all of them plus a "watch-dog";)
