I think the 5.7 is a 350.

Yup 5.7 = 350 a nice engine but you could not get a manual transmission with tthe 350,

True, but compared to the many cars in the 1 to 2 liter range, the camaro would seem big. Though stock, they didn't produce too much power

Depending on the year could be up to 230hp

A fair bit of torque though, anyway the sound makes up for the lack of power

The gearbox is getting redone at the moment.

It wasn't changing out of first till about 3500, same with second and third.

Then there was a massive thud when it went into 4th.

Can't take any chances with them old ones.

Don't forget the new trans mount they go often.


Also a cheap trans cooler in series with the stock radiator can make a world of difference.

Here is my unique car!

Its a Losi micro-T that I have modified and upgraded. Excelorin brushless system and Katanga Custom RC buggy chassis and body.

Unfortunately I reduced the weight of the chassis too much and it is pretty hard to control. With the high power motor I can be cruising at half throttle, punch it and the car spins out of control.
