Didn't read the whole thread, or didn't read any of the thread?

i did read ur first post and that was enough to tell that the most products u r selling are below the power u advertise which is plain scam to name it.
if the company is to poor to buy a LPM they shouldnt advertise for something they dont know its true.

Or, alternatively, you could go buy from Optotronics, Nova, or even Rayfoss or O-like. You DO get what you pay for.

i dont get what u advertise on your site. lieing to get more people to buy ur stuff because they lack knowledge. counting on the dumbness of a human. thats what u make ur money with. scam.

Not true. All the Chinese websites that don't specialise in lasers list their specs incorrectly. This is because they use the specs stated by the supplier and don't have enough reason to buy a power meter as lasers only make up a small quantity of what they sell, and then they'd have to get a flashlight power meter, a knife-sharpness meter and an everything-else-they-sell meter.

no. at lasers its the power which makes up the pricing. if your supplier cant deliver what he advertises he is a bad supplier and should be ignored by the day u figure they lie about their product. if u keep supporting them by paying wrong (in the negative way) advertisements they will never stop to do so and so the incompetence will keep going.

Personally, i love things from China. Stuff you never knew you needed is on these sites and they're just a click away at a fraction of what they'd cost were you to buy them in the real world (using that silly obselete concept called "coins") and with free shipping. As long as you don't mind waiting a while, you're all set.

where i buy them 'in the real world' i pay for quality things. thats why they are more expensive. id like to complete a sentence from you 'As long as you don't mind waiting a while and getting poor quality objects and get lies about the things u buy, you're all set'
face it

Would anyone else call that part bordering on racism?

its no racism lol. well if u call the whole world racists then it might be.. i dont know! but china stand for poor quality and cheap prices (without cheap prices they would sell nothing).

Untrue. The majority of buyers of lasers from PA are going to be unenlightened, not interested in this comparison game that we all play and are just looking for something to dick around with, shine into the sky, hit clouds with, maybe use to light some matches and impress their friends with. Specs are irrelevant for such people, as long as it's brighter than their 5mW red and can light a match.

untrue! they go by specs. else you also wouldnt have to lie about. thats the only reason for you scammers to put wrong specs there - searching for people with no clue to make ur lasers look good by the wrong specs.

And you take this advice: Read around the forum before posting, read the thread before posting, master the art of typing your words out properly before posting and then finally, THINK before posting. And you too can be a happy man at the end of the day.

im actually a happy man :D i never had to lie to sell something nor would i ever do that. IF i were selling things id do everything to make my customers happy. they are the people that pay my bread. first thing - never lie in my advertisement. if my supplier is not trustable i have to make my own testings to make sure my customer get what is advertised. else i would make myself look as bad as my supplier.
im no english man but i get told that my english is not that bad from alot of english people. infact they say it is good compared to most other germans.
why would i master out english language before i want to post!? :D get sense dude.. was that just a frase of a poor frustrated man that faced reality? much to learn you have young padawan

that wasnt an option for me before your posting. but now u got it for beein an egoistic and ignorant seller that only cares about dumb peoples money. if u treat all ur possible customers like that u will not sell anything anymore. (be happy that u dont have to, u dont have much more to be proud of)

thanks for giving me -rep and getting personal for an own opinion!!! i feel for your women (which u probably (hopefully?) not have with that attitude)

:thanks:

(if i knew i wasnt talking to John7788 i would have ignored the JaiNobeZ kid that let little girls play with high power lasers indoor - not even worth the hype)

sorry again! wasnt ment to crush ur thread :(

@rhd: Basically, I saw a ~30 posts user producing a useless post and decided to pounce on it. Was it wrong? Idk. Guess in trying to protect the integrity of the thread i disrupted it. Sorry 'bout that. In order to add something on-topic to this thread, is this laser still running ok?

@viro: On the understanding that you posted it by mistake, delete the post (and ideally the one following - and in return i'll do the same) and your -rep will be removed automatically. If it was an accidental post that'd be the best thing to do anyway. If you then want to discuss the safety of me and my girlfriend taking photos of ourselves with lasers and the fact that just because you see long hair doesn't mean you see a female, we can do so in PM.

Haha... that's my opinion when people argue. Amuses me.

Here, have some rep for not complaining! :D

Also, off-topically, do 685nm diodes appear a different colour to ~650 or do they just appear less bright?

Sorry.... but only the comment would disappear...
The -Rep value will still there.... the numbers will not change...;)

685 - just less bright. Though there are some people who say it looks "deeper". But in my opinion - less bright.

I sort of knew that was the case... sort of. The rep system confuses me so much.:can:

Ok. So it's just a "have it for the sake of saying you have it" kind of thing?

On some early builds i was messing around with uncollimated 780nm (or whatever the wavelength used for CDs is) and i thought the colour was slightly different from ~650nm red, but the most interesting bit was that there was no trace of it with the lights on but i could see it perfectly when i flicked them off.
