Pics that will make you cry

While that is true, they don't pay a penny for any of my lasers. I pay for everything by buying cheap, repairing, and selling stuff.

Weren't you showing off a 30k laser head a while back? Man what kind of stuff you selling, I want in!

I just figured out they are Spectra Physics Lasers from looking on the box.
Time to look them up. :)

Yeah, mine too. Oh well, just goes to show lasers are a more green hobby then high end computers!
Actually my comp is not high end... it does have 460 W PSU ,however I'm betting that 7750BE and Radeon 4670 do not use it up.

65,000 wow i bet that will drop a zero for a ~5watt laser in 2-4 years

They are high end lasers - 0.1% stable using a Z-fold cavity. Used for research, hence the high price. Not just any old DPSS rig :p.

Wait. you're in high school but can afford several thousands of dollars to spend in lasers that you repair to then sell them? Please clarify my mind, because it doesn't make any sense for me lol

What doesn't make sense? I buy lasers, fix them up, sell them for more then I paid. Simple way to make money.

Considering the price has remained constant for the last 10 years, I wouldn't be so sure. Nothing out there can match the stability and beam quality of a DPSS laser, especially not a diode or OPSL.
