I have sold hundreds of both brands of these fine cells.

Panasonic recently bought Sanyo . . .

so now they are the same company.

I would go with the 3100mah Panasonics.

I have used both 3100 & 3400 mah Panasonic cells extensively.

The 3400 cells have considerably better I.R.

and is the "state of the art" currently.

P.S. U.S. Post Office is now allowing International shipment of 18650 cells.

I know they both are really good cells.

Your preference. obviously more mah will require less charging inbetween charges, but i'm the sort that tops off my batteries once i see them under 4 volts.

Using good cells like these might even bump your power up abit. ( many of my lasers LPM' d higher once i swapped to better batteries ...and common sense would suggest that keping them over 4 volts will also give you max output.)

i'd say what ever you like between those 2 cells.

I don't trust DX.

One Panasonic states with protection circuit board . . .

when it does not have one installed.
