Hello neighbor. I'm not sure about coherence length as the Osram 530nm lasers. I also don't have the pinout diagram and the Vf, current, etc.

Datasheet for the Osram PL 530: http://optoengine.com/images/Documents/OEMLasers/PL530.pdf

Has pinout and Vf/If. Doesn't talk about the PPLN xtal heater but I figured that out based on the research paper.(http://genis.ca/documents/lasers/osram/OsramOPSL-ResearchPaper.pdf).

Driving the heater on mine at around 1.5V with an LM317, seems to be happy with that. AFAIR I used the power values from the research paper and the resistance values in the datasheet to calculate the voltage and current requirements for the heater. Should be happy anywhere between 1.5V and 2.0V.

Have heard mixed information saying that output power and stability are very sensitive in regards to heater voltage, but haven't noticed that from a purely visual perspective. Might notice it if I had a power meter fast enough and sensitive enough to measure the fluctuations.

Someone bought a pack of 50 Osram PL530 from me and was happy. He just placed an order for 1000.

I ran the numbers comparing one of these at 75 mw output to a 1400 mw output multimode 520nm laser diode using a 6 mm diameter collimation lens and at 16,000 meters, the spot will be about 14 times more intense (due to the smaller size of the spot) than the 1400 mw output laser which will appear far weaker due to so much spreading at its greater divergence. Of course, the beam itself won't be very bright close up, compared to 1400 mw, but the lower power beam stays very tight for a long way, once collimated, something a high divergence 1400 mw multimode green diode can't compare with at distance. Of course, close up 1400 mw is awesome and for a distance, will produce a brighter spot than this 75 mw (max) unit, but at a great distance, they fall far behind.

Put a 30 mm diameter expander on it and now you will really see a difference, over 300 times more intense of a spot at 16,000 meters (or roughly 10 miles) compared to the 1400 mw output laser diode using the 6 mm diameter lens. Low divergence sources aren't magic, but close enough for me when you expand the beam for an even lower amount of divergence :)

530nm! i like 530nm color. it is better than DPSS 532nm.

I am interested in *sealed* 50 packs of the PL530 lasers if still available (not sure how to contact you).

I'd check on eBay if you are looking for these. If you find them only sold individually, you can try to make a deal of a pack of 50. It wasn't that long ago when several people were selling these in large numbers.

I’ve still got some , mine have a built in collimating lens as well

I had some to pass on to members, but in a move I will be damn if I can find them now. Someday, I am sure I have them. Better to buy them from holokidd.

Not likely unless someone has a few they didn't use.
Those were from long ago before there were any green diodes---the "Corning® Green Laser G-1000" were shown at the Display Week 2008 conference later used by some now out of production and out of business microprojector makers. In 2010 a higher output 73mW G2000 came out so...
The market was flooded with them by people getting rid of old junk spare parts as inventory slavage that nobody was ever going to need/buy as replacement parts at one point, but even that was long ago.

Found these on the auction site. Seems like a good deal maybe ?mThe green is the same laser in this thread?

If you have to have one and th headache of getting one running instead of a 50mW 520nm diode for $20 for reasons unknown, here is a guy in the Ukraine who is offering 7 of them @ $60 each: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OSRAM-PL53...618702?hash=item44714c8e4e:g:6CYAAOSwLstfmdA6
You will need to make a driver for it and heater needs separate current source to work properly. See Diachi's thread --
