OSRAM PL 530 laser diodes - NEW / SEALED 50/pk, QTY: 109

If you have to have one and th headache of getting one running instead of a 50mW 520nm diode for $20 for reasons unknown, here is a guy in the Ukraine who is offering 7 of them @ $60 each: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OSRAM-PL53...618702?hash=item44714c8e4e:g:6CYAAOSwLstfmdA6
You will need to make a driver for it and heater needs separate current source to work properly. See Diachi's thread --

Thanks . I like it for its novelty. That being said it does seem a bit more involved than I want to get for not much bang.I just saw a video in another thread about a tea nitrogen laser / dye laser that looks like it might be more fun to try and make.I could probably get everything I need to make one for the price and effort it would take me to get this green going.

The beam quality from these is what makes them so special. They make for nice deep holograms. And even if you just want a laser for lumia these are still special. Light up a selenite crystal with one of these. Speckle so pronounced and high contrast........just beautiful.
