if i used a glass lens from eBay do i have to cut some plastic out from the back(open it)

I believe the aixiz glass lenses already have the back opened, so you don't have to do anything.

Only the Aixiz plastic lens needs opening. Glass is OK

There are many ways, some people use a x-acto knife to englare the hole, others manage to just pull the back and get it open. Here's a diagram tehk posted a long time ago. Just be sure to place something soft between the pilers and the lens so you don't ruin the threads.
