anyone here ever played it?

thoughts? comments? questions?

i myself have guitar hero 3 and play it too much. i know i play it too much because i can play most of the songs on expert. it will be handy at parties though... ;) ;) ;)
 





My sister has one and I play it occasionally, I've finished medium and I still haven't tried Hard yet (Except for "Slow Ride", which was easy ;D) But I don't play it that much.

Don't let Kenom see this thread... :D
 
I am guitar hero king, there was a tournament at my school, about 400 kids at the tournament, and crushed everyone . i came in second. I can do through the fire and flames on hard.
 
i have yet to get through that song on hard. in practice, i completed only 72 percent of it. :'( :'( :'(
 
its hard, you have to get the tapping/hammer ons right, those are the hardest parts, the solo is a pain in the anal cavity though.

hey, once i get enough money together, i am going to buy a real guitar. one that has strings and frets and maybe a pickup.
 
about 2 or 3 years ago i played the very first guitar hero, then a year after i played the second, i got really good at it and then i was playing on expert and no one could beat me.
now for less than a year ive been playing REAL guitar, and becoming good at that too.

however when i now play guitar hero 3 im still really good at it, i can beat every song on expert except through fire and flames, i wasted enough time on that song alone trying to beat it haha.

yeah i can play through fire and flames on hard, but thats as close as it gets lol. i played for 30 minutes on expert and i found out i can go to practice, and make the speed "slower" and then i can nail 85% of the notes lol. even that was hard, try it sometime.
 
Don't forget to include Rock Band... better game in my opinion.

I play on expert, hate playing TTFAF, though.
 
my sister has rock band, i am not a fan of playing the drums though. i just stick to playing the guitar or bass.
 
I think they should come out with a Tuba hero, it would be a popular game IMO ;D ;D

No offense to any Tuba players of course :D
 
how about "keyboard hero" or "paino hero". . . ;D ;D ;D

i mean no offense to paino players, heck, i used to be half way good at playing a keyboard.
 
If I wanted to play guitar, I'd get a guitar.

But I like DDR, so I'm not one to talk :-[
