O-like down? and O-like shipping?

I gave my friend a check the other day to order me a 200mW 532nm from O-like since I won't use Paypal, and I have told him to hold and not place the order.

This whole "order-and-pray" thing has me quite skeptical. For all I know, these companies can just chose to not send 1 out of every 10 orders, and say "opps, customs must have snatched it".

I hate to think so negatively, but it is a possibility to me and I don't like having that risk involved.

I can't talk about Rayfoss, but as far as O-like goes, I have never once heard of a person not recieving their order. It's natural to be skeptical, but she has a clean slate numbering probably in the hundreds on this site who have ordered from her.

If you're in the US and want a good laser, Suzie's the one to go to.
(However I would wait for the site to be up and running properly.)

Yeah, they are both down again... Wonder if they are changing to a .cn web add'y. :?
Hopefully either (or both) will be up again soon. :o
 
10 days of off and on BS. It seems it has been happening for 21 days on Rayfoss's site. This sucks!

I emailed Faona about it. She basically said that the server operator's IP was sealed by the China Government for some unknown reason and they are moving to another server.
I think this is also why o-like has been down. :cryyy:

But, Deal Extreme and Focalprice are still up, so it's not every China web company. :tinfoil:
 
Cool! I've ordered a set of YVO and KTP crystals ~ 2 weeks ago... and they arrived today!!! From China to Europa this is quite good!

Thanks to Susie! The crystals have the coatings and specs as mentioned on the web site!
 
yeah i just bought the old style 200mW red laser from o-like on exactly the January 3, 2010. And, my top part of the laser came first (tailcap, batteries ,and charger should come soon) on January 20, 2010 a total of 17 days to just get the top part of the laser. But does anybody here know how long it took to recieve the second package that comes with tailcap, batteries, and charger?:yabbem:
 
It seems o-like is working on a new site. Here is text from their site today: :)

Right. I just contacted the email on their website and got nothing. It has been a week.

I am getting worried. I am thinking about contacting paypal. This is TERRIBLE service!

Does anybody know if there is a website with the same lasers?

I want their "Ultrafire host portable green laser /outdoor hunting" and the "New Style red laser 200mW /adjustable"

Both of those products are on their new website. I don't think ordering them is an issue even if their website isn't entirely rebuilt. Just email Susie.

I know that the products is on their website, the problem is that another member here (Seoul_lasers) says that he send an email without reply...

Sorry but I don't know anything about Susie, Im just starting my hobby/enthusiasm with laser stuff online and I dont know much information about the laser net-business, only technical info..

Please pm me if you have her email, thank you!
