Just got this an hour ago though I would post and join the party, purchased my 200mw adjustable on the 26th now that it has shipped it shouldn't take longer than 2 weeks since im not in the off season. Excited to receive it because its my first "high power laser" im completely fine with the lower power 5-15mw laser you find on like ebay, amazon from the unknown sellers becuase they last a long time and have a nice focused dot without a lot of flooding, I prefer little light and a fine centered dot over a lot of light. As for night beams they are cool but to carry around every day they are terrible because they lead directly back to you if you ever want to fuck around.
 
Awesome, me too, today when I received it. This freaking thing is amazing! That's it I'm now hooked for life.

Ha Ha, Isn't EVERYONE here waiting, doing, or talking about the next Laser there going to build, buy, or maybe steal(hope not). Thought that was whole point of this site called "Laser Pointer Forum". lol
 
Yes I got my laser :D Im happy. This thing is awsome. I will have the review up by saturday afternoon. I don't have a picture because Im charging my camera :D I LOVE THIS THING!!!
 
hey Mike, I hope i'm not assuming too much from your statement, but a 200mW laser is not "little light" in any sense.
A 20-30mW green laser will appear to be just as bright as a 200 mW red, but 200mW is quite dangerous no matter how bright it looks.

I just wanna throw this out there as a suggestion -not trying to sound rude:); you really shouldn't "fuck around" with a laser at or above 30mW (particularly indoors) without safety glasses...
I am assuming that you don't have laser safety goggles based on this being your first 'high power' laser :D

After I read a lot of the basics on laser safety, I have way more respect (and appreciation) for lasers, and I agree that a laser should be operated the way you would handle a gun (Don't point it somewhere you don't want it to go) except more carefully -a bullet is a lot less likely to come right back at you ;)
I personally think it would be worse to be permanently blinded, than to be hit by a bullet.​
