First of all not one person can tell you IF custom's will take it or not.
Many people have bought from there and as far as I know there hasn't been a problem. you can request that it be sent in separate package's (might be a better safer way? (hint:hint)

They aren't going to confiscate your laser, 99.7% of contraband lasers get through no problem :D It's to much work to check them all.

dude whats a 5mw good for? 5mw is useless ive had 5,s 30,s 50,s and they all suck im looking for high power lasers for wowing ppl and burning stuff
 
o-like sells very good lasers for a Chinese company. They are consistently up to or over spec, and reasonably priced.

You can request that they not send betteries with your laser, which will make it slightly harder for customs to test the laser. Also, shipping with EMS will increase your chances of being confiscated by customs. Your best bet is to use Hong Kong Post.

Another option would be to order a high-powered module from o-like and use it to build your own custom green. Modules will not be confiscated by customs since they are not marked as being lasers, and customs cannot test them.
 
I have bought from o like and ledshoppe. Both orders got through no problem.
 
well thanks alot for the replys i did get the laser without batteries and i used hong kong post also. so far so good i had a little issue i forgot to put the order number in the paypal description and susie resolved it right away so far o-like has been more than helpful.
 
as the days pass and no tracking number yet im getting concerned now i look on o-like and the lasers power and prices seem to have changed for example http://o-like.com/b2b_cpinfo.asp?id=996 used to say 50mw and the price was alot cheaper also if u look on the laser itself its still marked 50mw number 2 this violet laser http://o-like.com/b2b_cpinfo.asp?id=947 yesterday it was marked 83$ or so and it said 30mw now it says 80mw and its labled as costing 128$ wtf is going on? the prices and mw's are changeing and the pictures with lasers marked with lower mw's than advertized are staying the same there still 50 and 30mw lasers.. if that makes sense lol
 
The tracking numbers suck for Hon Kong post, they usually just say they left Hon Kong, I wouldn't worry about all of that changing in prices and mW's, Expect 12-15 days to be shipped in the United States.
