O-like 12x Bluray SF 512 sled diode = 600mW!

Twenty seven inch monitor?! What?!

Wow! :D

I know, large pictures and stuff. Who gives a crap? I'm on 15.6 " laptop and it's perfectly fine.

Your point being what? To resize pictures? I hate that, I have to delete existing ones, resize ones on my computer, re-upload and then edit post with all new links together.

If it's really a problem I'll do it, but if it's not then let it be.

+1 for you (after ive spread it around) :)

My 12x died at 571mw's with the aixiz lens...lasted less than a day :(

Sh*t what? Which sled? What driver and host?!

What current?

Droid, fine I'll just post links then.

I for one, thought your pictures looked great. My camera can't even take such large, and crisp pictures. You can even see the die sitting behind the diode window!

Guess you haven´t *clicked* onto my message before? ;)

Yes I did, some nice pictures. I don't get it.

There I fixed the post, links only, so no pictures have to load for any of you people, just click the links if you want to see them.

I linked to the #second post of the diffraction gratings thread.

I don´t care about picture size. With my 15.4" notebook monitor I had a few more problems. Some people embeded 4000 x 3000 pictures ;)

Stupidly i didnt make a note of the current, but it was on a flexdrive WITHOUT the high current link, so it must have been under 500mA

it was a sf-bw512

Cool.

Thanks for all the kind words guys!

So, will let you back when I decrease some current, see what it measures at.

@Eudaimonium
Heres the initial thread about the BDR 12x. Quote:

Vf------mA----mW
4.01----50-----38
4.35----75-----81
4.62----100---121
4.88----125---166
5.08----150---209
5.27----175---255
5.41----200---296
5.53----225---337
5.64----250---381
5.73----275---418
5.81----300---462
5.88----325---503
5.93----350---537
5.99----375---579
6.04----400---617
6.08----425---656
6.11----450---692
6.15----475---728
6.18----500---767

I think they should not go beyond 500mA... probably the diode tested there died, dunno.

+1 to your build, you should speak (write) a little more english so you would learn more :P

PS: You assembled that driver?
