New to dildas :)

so..it's ONLY too SHORT...but the width of cr123 are ok for the dilda.....!a good mod couuld be to use a longer tube..to put 2 cr123...at 3.6.

so 3.6v ----> more power
cr123r-----> more mah ....and more light duration and usage for the dilda..

The CR123R batteries diameter of 0.650" is too large to fit into the Dilda..
The Dilda inside diameter with battery clearance is 0.600".....8-)

Hey... With some modification....
You could add some wires to the driver and connect it to a 12Volt car battery in a Back-Pack
carried on your back through a variable Power supply to give you the voltage you wanted...  ::)

The laser would work for a really long time... but the battery may become uncomfortable
over time.... ;D ;D ;D

According to DX my items are ready, I'm going to get them fast hopefully :)

No, you won't :)
I am also from Hungary and the last order from DX arrived in 3 weeks.

If you order the dilda from o-like, won't customs confiscate it?
Hi, I am in the US and have ordered the dilda from O-like. It arrived in standard Chinese delivery expectations (2-3 weeks) in great condition.

So i finally received it. Is it normal that I can't see clearly the beam on the night sky and I can't burn green matches?

Yes.

Red is difficult to see in the air.

Use a black marker to darken the matches.  Green doesn't absorb the red light very well.  Also, be sure that you are focusing it as small as possible AND holding it very steady

Peace,
dave

Got it, focusing is harder than I expected :) Black marker didn't help much, it evaporated before the match lit xD With right focusing it was instant.

I just measured 202mw on 2.9V Varta professional lithium batteries. My ultrafire CR2s just arrived, hopefully I measure the dilda with those too :) Thanks DX xD
Any nice solutions to the wobby head?

For the wobbly head.... you can use a few layers of Teflon tape
on the lens threads... (the kind for plumbing fittings)... 8-)

fix to wobbly head-- teflon tape

Teflon tape fix done, thanks for the tip :)
How can I clean the lens and the diode? I can see small dust particles on it when it's a bigger "dot" (actually circle :) ).

Pressured air would help I guess. Have you measured the mA used at 202mW? Please do it if possible.
