New RPL-425 at optotronics






Holy balls. Didn't the beefiest RPL used to be the 325 a while ago? Or am I just crazy?
 
Some day in the future we will be laughing at the RPL-425 while we play with our RPL-1000s. ;D
 
That's more then my next semester's college tuition. :o

But I got scholarships so cash money in the bank! 8-)

Not $1549 though. :'(
 
only problems with high powered greens is stability :(
well my RPL-400 only goes over 500mw for a few seconds, thats during a flat 5 minute run from fresh batteries. my peak was 534mw.
im guessing the peak on this maybe close to 600mw with average power between 440-480mw :o
 
That's more than my whole year tuition :P Luckly I have a scholarship too.
 
:o That is some sweeeet power, wonder if opto will start selling RPL-500s, as efficiency increases.
 
I'll think about trading in my RPL-400 I'm sending back anyway for this new model. :)

I'll see what it costs. But sounds like an interesting deal :)
 
I am hopefully going to get one in 2 weeks : ) just got to finish 1 more week of work and cash the check : )

its going to be a long 2 weeks :|
 
I still havent got that, unless i pot mod my DX laser up to 75mW when i get it
