Hi all. I am a fiber optics technician for the telephone company.
I came to the forum to see if anyone can advise me on a personal project.
And the question is........
Are there any two invisible lasers that, when combined (crossed,) produce a visible light?

Hello,nice to meet you.I'm not professional or lasers expert,but in my opinion two invisible lasers combined don't make visible.But wait for experts opinion :)

Hello MisterMcCool, I believe the answer is no, however if your not familiar with DPSS lasers then you may want to read up on the subject. They use an IR pump diode and send it through a couple of crystals and optics to convert it to visible light.

Well, that puts a damper in my plan.
I guess I will have to go with plan B.
Using two different colors that combine to form a third.

How about this, is there an invisible laser that reacts visibly to an infrared or ultraviolet light?
Or is that the same question?

Well 589nm lasers have 2 IR wavelengths fires into a crystal where they are doubled into one. Look up how 589/593.5nm lasers work.
