New glass lens for my 405nm laser

Can you post a link to which lens you bought? Or was it the 405-G-1? Thanks!

Ahhhh the internet... letting people say things to other people that they wouldn't, in a million years, have the balls to say to to the person's face. <cough>cust11<cough>

Life would be sweet if people acted in forums as they do in real life. After all, when's the last time a coworker looked at you and said, "GTFO pussy" without getting their teeth knocked down their throat?

BTW - all humans have warts/skin tags in some form or another - it doesn't mean you are running around with HPV. People are so good at posting Wikipedia links... it's just sad they don't actually read the material that's included.

Make drawings into wood, cutting small figures out of cardboard and paper, drill holes in plastic plates, is a few more interesting things to do with a laser.

Make super tiny holes in black electric tape can be used to cover the lens of a digital camera, and make super closeup photos of insects, single grains of sand, with super sharp and focused pictures regardless of the focus availability of your camera. But the light will take time to make a good visible photo through such small holes (10 - 100 microns). So you need a relatively long exposure time to get a good result. Within that time the insects has left the photo spot long time ago.

So lasers can be used to several purposes.
