I agree. Sorry guys but I am not going to be able to bite the bullet and test these ones out this time. I am still trying to sell the XJ-M140 projector I was going to test out before DTR beat me to it. I've got about $700 locked up in that one.

What I see in this video I have seen a million times over with
2-300mW reds...

Ive found these hosts on focalprice or the like, and in red but never
1W. The price tells me a lot as diodes that put out 1W cost this much
on their own. Lets not forget that to obtain such a pretty beam additional
optics are required and im not seeing this for 299.

Also to get a decent beam with the additional optics, usually means
that having 'adjustable focus' is not an option.. the complexity would
also reflect in the price.

The big question remains, is this 're-seller' trying to pull a fast one?

The Red laser video doesn't convince.
That can be done with ~200mW as well...:undecided:

Back the laser about 15cm off of the thermopile.

Then your readings will be accurate...

And how do we know that you aren't just measuring the 445 at peak/stable/farther away, etc. for both pictures, and not even including the red laser...

How about including the actual laser in both pictures while it's getting the reading?

Cause they had to come up with something real quick that looks semi-convincing lol (semi-convincing is a real stretch)

At least back it off to show the red.. im not seeing any colour there.
Could be a 445 for all we know.

Im smelling something fishy here... personally, I wouldn't put much trust
in a purchase there..

Why on earth would a seller knowing how rare a 1W red is, who owns
a power meter not be bragging about it? I know I would :D

Still calling BS on this. :toilet:

To the OP, if you want to convince potential buyers, id like to see a video
(not pics) of you metering the 445 and without stopping the cam, then immediately
test the red..

You really want to seal the deal include a video of the current draw on
the battery with a DMM...

Ill put 5$ on a <300mA draw

We don't have to "come up" with anything.
You can call it whatever you want, but I invite you to not order anything until you have proof enough to do so.

Tomorrow I will be posting some pics -as you requested- for the RED and BLUE lasers, and hopefully some videos too.

And just one observation: I had a feeling that this forum had changed a bit with the time with all the bashing and mocking, but unfortunately it's just the same. That's a real shame.

Still, will post the pics tomorrow. See you, good night!
