Nice sketch Trin , you've used Autodesk Fusion 360° ?
G-8 lens it is different from the G-2 one, it makes the laser point rounder rather than a horizontal line, but maybe it will depend on the fact that the 5W diodes upwards emit that type of beam (will it be given by the power?)

I'm interested in a 510 threaded heatsink I can press a module from dtr in it and I can screw it into a box mod with 2 18650's in series (noisy cricket most likely). Does this still exist/can you make it for me?
Also if I just put it on a regular box mod that like I can control the wattage would that work? I know the driver would limit it to under 2.4a but I'm interested in what the chip inside the mod would read out or if it just wouldn't like it. (Would be cool to have control on output power besides just <2.4a)

I tested with g2 and nubm44, they can focus the beam parallel to the length of the lens without causing difficulties

Have you made the external and internal threads with M9 only outdoors? or do you have both male and female?

you can see it longer ,so you can use G8 better
i use CNC lathe
