That's a good looking host Lifetime, and a very nice gift to yourself! :)
I've got a Ehgemus host that's real similar to that one, I've really got to get it built one of these days.

Looks good, if you don't mind me asking how much did that set you back?

hi,
@ bowtie,
Yes i'm very pleased with it The NDG 7475 is killer bright. I thought my NDG700 was bright but tis blows it away. Hey thank for you reply ai appreciate it much. Like toes yours when you build it buddy.

@ red bull,
Well lets say it wasn't cheap but well worth it Top quality . Thank you for checking it out i like to hear folks from the forum's opinions , likes and dislikes.

Rich:)

AWESOME looking host Rich.. I'd love to see some beam shots out of that..

Hi A,
Might be able to get some in, outside tonight should perform well in the chilled night air.

Rich:)

My GF saw me looking at this, she put her hand on my shoulder and said:
Heeyy, you Christmas shopping for me? If you are I want a bigger one than that.

I explained to her that it's not the power in watts that counts with 520nm it's the brightness.

She just walked away looking over her shoulder at me, making that "Bigger" movement with her hands.....women.

Nice laser Lifetime, I have been thinking about a 1.25W 520 myself, actually I like that NDG700 DTR has on sale.

Does anyone know if the NDG700 might have a slightly smaller emitter area than the NDG7475?

That would seal the deal, because when it comes to emitter size less is more...just don't try to sell my GF on that.

Hi,
@ cowboy hey it's quite nice to have a GF that can joke like that your the lucky one buddy.
Tell her sometimes bigger is not always better, be careful what you wish for LOL !! Your to cool..
As for the emitter there both 9mm is i am correct but there's a good possibility there is have to look into this. my 700 is crazy bright but this is sick compared to it. NDG 7475 max WL by data is 525nm if i had a spectra that would solve the WL ?? The dye was cold when it hit 1560mW it was sitting in my shop downstairs. My 700 hits 1100 + / My PLP520B-1 hits 230+ so have to test some more.

Rich:)

@ Lux glad you enjoyed it as much as i have my pleasure to share the laser with you.

Rich:)

Hi Lifetime, you just keep pumping these beauties out! Yeah this one is something else:cool: Always enjoy looking at them and when you post a beam pic I really want to see the color. again thx:)

Hi G,
Ill get to the beam shots soon it's raining here now but the rain might make the beam look cool. Ill try tonight, Oh and for the mirrors from o like there tiny little things myself will try and keep with the 4x4's.

Rich:)

Hi,
Ok got around to some beam shots some outdoors and a few indoors.They are from left to right in that order;

1st. NDG7475/SXD=2.4A/G2 Lens/1500mW/2-18350 AW cells
2nd. NDG700/SXD=1.8A/G2/1100mW/2-18650 Panasonic cells
3rd. PLP520/xdrive=450mA/G2/212mW/1-18350 AW cell

Hope you enjoy the shots take it i'm not the best photographer sorry.

Nice pics :gj:
Now I want to buy a NDG700, DTR has them ready to run with driver, module, lens everything for 200 bucks, or I could buy some more single mode diodes for a project I'm wanting to do...Grrrr Thanks for tempting me. LOL
p.s. I have to spread some rep before I can rep you again, I thought I had been.
