Hi guys, there's a short...
I switched it on and heard a hiss, after I took off the tailcap I was quite shocked. The spring in the tailcap got so hot that it contracted a lot and even branded into the white plastic ring, the diode itself or the batteries didn't get hot.
Hi,
Take the diode and driver back out again and see if there both ok by testing them if they do still work thats great. Like i said before i had trouble with my tail cap from the start.A new switch is only $2.99 from SL and they should fit all there hosts. The tail cap switch is nothing to worry about make sure the diode is ok .
