I used the same host in an LOC build but with no driver. There is a circuit in this flashlight that dims when you hold down the clicky switch. I want to make a blu ray laser out of one of these flashlights but the flashlight puts out 5.5voils max and 3.0volts min so only a boost drive would work but then that means that i won't be able to dim it so i wanted to go with a linear driver but 5.5volts won't be enough current .
I sent an blu ray o-like driver to Daguin to be set @ 110mA and he said it acts as both a boost/linear driver so after hearing that i thought it might work and it did so here it is. I also have a 405-g-1 lense, she burns like crazy when its on the highest setting and when i dim it down to the lowest setting it makes a perfect pointer! i will make a video of it working so you guys can see how it dims pictures don't do this laser justice!

I should have 7-8 of them at cost). I've found that the driver climbing is somehow related to the dummy load heating up. The current does not appear to climb when hooked to a diode. In a build they are very stable.
