Need Some Advice--Buying 50mW

Ok, thank you all for the help and info. I ordered the laser with paypal and got an email saying "Your order has been received and will be processed once payment has been confirmed." but I don't see a request or invoice thing in my paypal. How do I confirm it? Or do I just have to wait until it shows up on my paypal? Sorry I'm so clueless I haven't used paypal a lot
EDIT: I also forgot to mention when I chose the paypal option I did put my email for my paypal in the comment box like it asked to

you just wait until max sends the request for payment to your PP account, so keep an eye on your account for that and as always, good luck with your laser :beer:
 
I got the request, paid for it, and he updated it to processing. I didn't get a tracking number though, and I thought they did that. Also, the site seems to be down or something because every time I try to go on I get these really weird error messages, I don't know what's happening with that.
 
Ok, I can't even check though cause I can't access the website for some reason, I don't know if it's down
 
down for me too, give it a little and see if its the website or what but looks like a server error
 
Alright, website is back but still no tracking number. It's still in processing though, do they give you the tracking number when it ships?

Yes, they will provide you with a tracking number, after a little while. Dont worry, give it sometime:-)
 
Ok so my tracking number updated a couple days ago to "June 8, 2013, 11:11 pm, Processed through USPS Sort Facility, SAN FRANCISCO" I'm just curious, does this mean the laser already cleared customs? And at this point, how much longer should I expect it to arrive?
 
does it say depart sort facility yet? arriving means it got to customs, well let me reword that, depending on who does the custom inspection, it could have passed through customs already or USPS could be doing the inspection but at least it has landed in the US

And i have no idea why it updated twice with the same thing two days apart.
 
does max have a LPF account ? i searched for max and couldn't find him what his name ?
 
The laser just came, power certificate says stable power of 65mw so everything's looking good so far. he also included the battery and charger even though I'm pretty sure I didn't select it on the site haha. Do I have to charge the battery or does it come already charged? I have it plugged in now, and the light is green. Also, it goes in the laser positive side down right?
 
THROW THAT CHARGER OUT NOW!!!! Im being dead serious, those chargers are known to blow up inside and become a HUGE fire hazard!

EDIT: my laser is tail cap + and buy a nitecore charger now illuminationsupply.com as them for $10-$15 and charge 2 or 4 batteries at a time. last charger you will ever purchase and it is one of the safest since it is a smart charger.
