Need help finding IR laser Diode with the following specs

Hey guys I'm new here and I'm a really big noob on lasers. I'm looking for an IR laser Diode with the following specs

Class: IIIb
Output Power: 600 microwatts
Wavelength: 830nm +/- 20nm

I've been looking around but I haven't been able to find a IR laser diode with the output power of 600 microwatts.

This is for a project I'm undertaking for replacing the visible laser diode of a laser weapon sight (Insight M6X) to an IR laser.

(Also if anyone has undertaken this feat please let me know how you did it LOL)

600microwats is not class IIIb, class IIIb is 5-500mW.

Dont know if you will find the range your looking for in 5.6mm or 9mm LD's.

And what wavelength is the laser that is currently installed? I'm guessing 635-660nm?

600 microWatts (µW) is equal to 0.6 milliWatts (mW), so 600µW is Class I.

Regardless, you may be able to use any diode >780nm. The output power you need is determined by the kind of illumination you require.
780nm and 808nm diodes are the most common and cheapest near IR diodes available and in a wide range of power outputs.

something like this 3mW module for $4 will work great for you. Night vision isn't wavelength dependent and can often see anything down to 990nm or more. If you're feeling particularly adventurous, you can use the diode from any old CD drive.

600µW is Class I.

Class 2, you mean. Class 1 has to be <390µW according to wikipedia.
