It does not look reputable to me.
If you want to buy from an UK company you could try this one. Green (532nm) Lasers - Items - OdicForce Lasers Online Shop

I have not bought a laser from them, but have good experience with Odicforce's other products and customer service.
This place seems to be quite expensive :O, the 70mw laser which is somewhat cheap is sold out . I was looking at around £40 including shipping which I think is around $65.

This is a total mute point. You are correct, but not in this situation. Most people come here to lean about lasers, and how to obtain the exact laser they want. Either through buying, or DIY. He cares, thats the whole point. He is making an effort to get what he is paying for, and good for him. So your point is worthless in this situation.
Actually, it is a totally valid point now. Since it seems the company isn't going to test the laser for him, he has to make a choice - just buy the laser and hope it's at least in the ballpark power wise (which is basically what ALL of us do) or go somewhere else and face the same situation.

The bottom line is 99% of us buy a laser and will never know exactly how much power it puts out, but that doesn't effect our enjoyment of it (unless it's WAY out of spec, something your eye should be able to spot once you start collecting lasers of different power).

On the other hand, once you DO get caught up in making sure every laser you buy is exactly to spec, you're going to spend a lot more time obsessing than enjoying (sometimes ignorance is bliss).

In this case, the buyer has the unique opportunity to actually go to the seller and at least try out the laser before he buys. If it were me, I'd go, play with it, make sure it at least seems like it's in the 90mw range, and if it is, buy it and be happy.

Update: I gave up and just accepted they can't test it so wanted to just pick it up. I called them and his wife said she will call me back soon with a time to come round, and guess what.. no call. In the conversion though she said did you call earlier and I said yes, maybe they don't even want me seeing the laser now? lol

Yeah I guess so, i would have expected better for a UK company tbh. I might try princeangels, they have very good prices and I could get a much better laser for the same amount of cash :O although no IR filter.

To be honest, a gauranteed output of 90mW for £40 is pushing it. Even a well respected seller of just modules of ~100mW is going to set you back that $60. I think you either need to aim a little lower in power, or save up a bit more.

For UK deals, Odicforce is pretty good. I haven't bought pre-assembled lasers from there but I stick to the kits and parts. Nothing simpler than buying a module of your choice, a Waterproof host, some batteries and a charger and your away. The construction doesn't even need any tools. It's all just plug and play.

Yes, Megalaseruk have cropped up before and their specs are questionable. I think if you look hard enough you can find descriptions for blurays that output 532nm!

Specification:
Range: 50 miles
Continuous output power: 120mW class 3B

Price is £169 thats way overpriced and they claim its the most powerful blue-violet available, it's clearly not because you can get roughly 300mW from rayfoss. Doesn't mention if it's IR filtered or not but I reckon not.

They also list a 500mW vio right below it >.>
It doesn't need to. Blurays don't output IR. They are direct output diodes, not DPSS units.

Luton though? Really? Closest LPFer to me! About 12 miles or so!

Ty for the bluray info though, learn something new everyday :)

Mrinsane see here: http://laserpointerforums.com/f41/change-has-come-priceangels-56917.html
If you read through the topic you can see that a couple of people have bought some that are good and some not so good, also checkout the reviews section there's a few priceangels lasers there.

Thank you guys ^^ I will wait for John to test some of the lasers with IR filters then order :).

Good luck, and post some pics and a review when you get your laser. From wherever you get it!
