Am trying to figure out what is the best too get NDG7475 Vs NUGM01T !!
its going it to a nice host :o

NDG7475 still has the potential to reach better outputs than the NUGM01T. If you have a very efficient NDG7475 diode, you can reach above 1600mw.

EDIT: also forgot to say, the NUGM01T has open can and if a single spec of dust falls into the diode, it's done so be careful.

NDG7475 is going to look awesome in those hosts .....planning to order a few myself....
 
Initial reports had the 7475 as not only being stronger which it is, but as having better divergence, now they are said to be about the same, but if you can afford the 7475 that's the better one.

Those are really sharp. I wouldn't personally push that diode past 1.5W. Expensive to blow and you will certainly never see a difference between a 1.4-1.6W one anyways. Honestly not sure why someone would buy the 01T. Other than $35 what's the advantage? $35 isn't enough at $200 to make sense. Anyone else see it differently and why?
