Also for those interested in knowing, I received all 50 5mW blu-ray lasers. They are sexy as hell. I love them. I want to keep them all. Maybe I'll just keep one. I only tested 3 but those 3 all put out 5mW almost exactly. They run on regular AAA.

As for the green it was spewing out too much IR. I chose this option. It measured over 1 watt on the 532nm setting because of this. I used a lens to get rid of the IR and got a reading of 270mW :o, I also did a distance test in which I stand 25 feet away from the laser and measure the green at 260mW. Judging from the brightness and burning capabilities I would consider this to be close to accurate.
The lens I used was pulled from a PHR sled. It is the large rhombus shaped one. I am not sure how much of the IR it was reflecting. As for the distance test, I am not sure how much was still getting into the meter. I would like to do more testing with a proper IR filter but ATM I don't have one.
I'm sorry for the crap pictures but I just don't have time to take proper ones, As I mentioned before I am working 13 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Day I love you. I am sorry to those who weren't as lucky as I. I am going to do a quick test of all 50 to make sure they work. The green is a beast. If I paid $700 for this laser I might be a tad bit concerned with it's divergence but I am totally satisfied with it as is, plus it diverges inward before going out so it has a nice sweet spot to burn. I promise once I get more time I will post better pics and readings.

Phoenix I am sorry that the buttons aren't the right ones.

The reading of >1000mW is false because the meter is measuring 532nm. With my meter the scale is different with every wavelength. It isn't measuring the actual IR and Green output combined.

nice, im sure theres a way to adjust focus on yours, phoenix, you can open the front ap cap on yours if you want to adjust you focus, its freaking easy on yours!

Yeah I can adjust the focus but I have to take the top off and remove the waterproofing. Judging by the 5 different rubber/plastic gaskets on this laser I am guessing it is probably actually waterproof.

Hi Day,

Most likely i will order a blue and possibly one or two greens with the next wave however i've ordered a green from DX and want to wait to see if it gets through customs. If you could give some warning (ie something like a few days) before you order so that i can decide, send you the official order and paypal the money. I'm Assuming that shipping to Australia is still $12.30 right? Thank You.

Just a warning. If you get your DX order sent, and it is caught, then you will get a warning. If your order from Day also gets caught, then you will get a pretty hefty fine

Conner, I can't adjust diddly until I get a key. Hell, for all I know, this thing only puts out 100mW's :'( :'( I HOPE not, but until I get the key, I won't know squat. rob BTW, do those keys come in pairs, & did anyone else get a laser similar to mine that I can get a key from ?

i know, IF ANYONE HAS A LASER KEY THAT LOOKS LIKE IT FITS a SODA MACHINE PM ME!!
