My new Candy Kryton, FTW!!!

Man I love how it looks. I love the Krytons in general! Just finished doing the first round of polishing on my 532 kryton build

that is some nice color you got on your kryton there!

o and please dont say your going to put a 445nm diode in there :( a red beam from that host would look amazing:p

@xtrm2rick..... Yep! Im going to put a maxed out 445... Jk lok. Im going to put one of theose new 635s! Ftw!

It could be just me, but it looks like a bad red-over-black paintjob dude. Do you have any better pics? :D

^^^... pix dont capture the great poweder coat job. And the scratched in flames. Both the black (smoke) and red are transparent.

Phew.... When i saw 445 i was like NUUUUUUUU!!!! Then i saw jk and 635 which made it all better:D

Im waiting for a lighter blue diode ( like 488:angel: keep on dreaming ) to put in my blue/clear kryton:p

She is finally built. I am running her at 550ma via micro boost and 18650, with a ar coated lens I got from dtr. I haven't lpm'ed it yet. I left me cam at work but pix will come soon.

For a night time beam it is comparable to the 445s. But when an object is hit that is where you see the horrible divergence.

Also, please chime in with your experiences, but when I shine it into the night sky the beam is clearly visible... But when focused to infinity I do see a flat profile, but at some angles it looks like 2 beams. Anybody else see that?
