That's a nice build and the G8 should help your beam have lower divergence than the G2 (and higher output than the 3 element).

One thing though, please don't point it at buildings that have people inside them!

Yes, thanks for the advice. In general, I was very careful with him. However, I rarely use glasses. Very soon I will assemble another laser, but in another more compact body. I'm just waiting for the diode to arrive, which will be the same NUBM0E.

from a laser that powerful, the spot on a surface can give you permanent eye damage

In theory, yes, in practice there is no such thing. I have watched many times the reflection of many objects as I try to burn them. Absolutely no eye problems. Only the light is sometimes so strong that it blinds me. I watched without a mask in the electrician during welding, but there the consequences are very bad. There are absolutely no problems with the laser.
You just have to beware of direct light in the eyes

I agree with not using glasses to point it in the sky but indoors and burning? Even if the close light doesn’t hurt your eyes (which it could even if you don’t notice it) it’s just too risky for me. Light is instantaneous, if you don’t realize there’s a piece of glass next to your target and you’re a little bit off that could be it

Do not get me wrong. I am very careful with this thing. I just share that there are no eye problems when the light is reflected from paper, wood, plastic, rubber and the like. Things that have glare are dangerous. Also, if something is white, for example, Svetlana is very dazzling and usually does not shine in such things with certain colors. In fact, nowadays the most harmful thing for the eyes are watching smartphones at close range all day long.

This is were I have to chime in. That video disturbed me when you shone it on the buildings. You might not think of it as a big deal but whoever you may have blinded certainly thinks it's a big deal especially when they have no idea how it happened. I do not want to see this kind of behavior from you in the future. Either respect the hobby or get out.
You can blind yourself all you want but when it involves others then you become a criminal. Yes it's that serious

If you are a driver, it is very dangerous to drive in high beams, because you can blind the oncoming driver and crash. This is a trial for god, you instantly become a criminal!
It's time to drink cold water and calm down colleague. I pushed two planes and 10 bats in this video. Calm down with hypocrisy! I say again, drink some cold water and go to bed to rest

Oh a timeout you say? I can do that for you. Is that what you're requesting?

By the way, if you're going to block me, you can at least wait for me to share my next custom lazarus. Someone may be interested in doing the same, so in this case you will limit the information I share. Yes, I am writing here to share information and experience in making a custom laser. In reality, I did not take 1% of information about anything from the forum. I found it by chance and the goal was to share my experience. However, it so happened that I began to read morals, how can I shine in buildings with people. I didn't know I could hurt a man from 500-meter laser. Anyway. I do not intend to respond to such comments anymore. I say again, if you want to block me.

Then you should have thought of that before being a fucking moron
