My Furst Custom laser 7W+ NUBM0E

Hello, I want to show you my first custom laser that I made with a NUBM0E diode with a power over 6.5 watts, the laser is very powerful. I recorded a video of burning various objects. I expect the G8 lens to arrive.

That's a nice build and the G8 should help your beam have lower divergence than the G2 (and higher output than the 3 element).

One thing though, please don't point it at buildings that have people inside them!

Why use glasses as a light in the sky? I don't think it makes sense to wear glasses in such cases. The probability of shining in the eyes is zero.

In theory, yes, in practice there is no such thing. I have watched many times the reflection of many objects as I try to burn them. Absolutely no eye problems. Only the light is sometimes so strong that it blinds me. I watched without a mask in the electrician during welding, but there the consequences are very bad. There are absolutely no problems with the laser.
You just have to beware of direct light in the eyes

I agree with not using glasses to point it in the sky but indoors and burning? Even if the close light doesn’t hurt your eyes (which it could even if you don’t notice it) it’s just too risky for me. Light is instantaneous, if you don’t realize there’s a piece of glass next to your target and you’re a little bit off that could be it

Do not get me wrong. I am very careful with this thing. I just share that there are no eye problems when the light is reflected from paper, wood, plastic, rubber and the like. Things that have glare are dangerous. Also, if something is white, for example, Svetlana is very dazzling and usually does not shine in such things with certain colors. In fact, nowadays the most harmful thing for the eyes are watching smartphones at close range all day long.

You might not think of it as a big deal but whoever you may have blinded certainly thinks it's a big deal especially when they have no idea how it happened. I do not want to see this kind of behavior from you in the future. Either respect the hobby or get out.
