don't blame you, I'm not planning any kills again 'till I make a couple for sale
nice work - can't wait to see your next graph.
We're starting to get a clearer picture: rather consistent so far!

Why are you so obsessed about killing diodes for no good reason, Dan?
If you want to kill them, use them for testing their lifetime at a certain power. That at least gives you some useful info for all the other diodes.
If you just push a diode till it pops, it's death is completelly meaningless. Just because it takes 350mA to kill a 6x on the spot, does not mean it will survive 330 or even 300mA for any appreciable amount of time. 405nm diodes are different from reds. A PHR can be pushed to 230mW and seemingly thrive. For 20 minutes, that is.. It's not much different with 6x's. They can take one hell of an abuse for a short time, because thy are incredibly tough. But damage starts accumulating instantly. Even just plotting the diode to 300mA and then using it at 200mA will skew the results. Because the plotting itself did famage, but when it starts it is impossible to notice. By the time the damage becomes noticavle on a meter, it's too late for the diode...
Otherwise, i may do another small buy in the very near future, this time possibly at a slightly better price.. But you have to promisse you will be more gentle with them..
