My 12x laser - 688mW (by request)

Re: My 12x laser (by request)

SO you own a PHR and a 6X as well?

Is there any considerable difference is brightness on the 12X, when compared to the 6X and PHR?

Oh no. It says I don't have them anymore. I just wanted to state that I have experience with some blu-ray lasers.
I have notice the beam to be more 'brighter' than the 6x, if that's what you wanted to know. The 12x's beam is more detectable in the day time, especially at night.
What might suck about this 12x is that, since the beam is sometimes hard to see, I have sometimes caught my arm in the path of it and felt a burning sting. It happens.

Yes I know what you mean! My 12X is only at 305mA, and I get the same effect!

I thought maybe YOU were the one who confiscated the lasers... but apparently not.

Sorry..

So is the dot DEFINITELY brighter than the 6X? Or just a little brighter?

I'm going to say, when comparing them in the darkness, Yes.
But I didn't have a fog machine to better compare them.
6x - ~200mW
12x - 688mW

I'm interested to see some beam comparison pics, 12x, 6x, PHR, compared. Still tossing up whether to buy a 12x. :undecided:
