Multi-element GB (official)

Thanks Alexizupinhea!

Yes, there is still gallium available.  2 grams is not that much though- that's only 1/14 of an ounce. However, if that's what you want to order, I'll put you on the list- any amount of gallium is a lot of fun!

Please let me know when you shipped the Gallium. Please label package as 'sample gift' for smooth customs clearing :-)

Sample gift? That is somewhat dishonest... why would customs have trouble with importing gallium? I could understand selenium or tellurium maybe...but gallium? No, it's perfectly nontoxic. I've gotten it through into Canada, Australia, and Israel just fine, I don't see what the problem would be.

well... I dunno.. I guess it should be ok. You're right.. but customs here is a bit nervy.. maybe label as 'Gallium - Science Sample'?
Not everyone knows what Gallioum is :-)

I will figure something out. That sounds good- I'll make it sound as harmless as it is.

How about "Metal samples". That's what most of them are :D Even "science" may sound suspicious to some people.. Or "Elemental samples"?

Hi Mark,

Any news on the Tungsten ingots size? And on matching Magnesium ingots?
Or is the seller still not responding?

I was interested in Na but i guess its too reactive. Anyone else know where i can get some. I love experimenting with that stuff.
heruursciences is selling some in his thread but 75$ for an OZ seemed steep.

I just "disposed" of my last bit of sodium a while ago ::), but I was able to get it for about $5 a pound in bulk. I can't say my source, but search around on the internet for some companies that sell sodium. You have to buy it by the barrel, but it pays for itself if you sell it off. Ship it correctly though, I got audited but I kept records of everything so I was fine.

Back on topic: I still plan on ordering, but I am limited to my current money status so I probably won't be able to get what I wanted. I do want at least 10 grams of gallium and indium and a couple ounces of other stuff but I'm not sure I can afford it all. I need to sell off some more of my excess lasers...

I got a notice from my seller that he is out-of-country and therefore not able to respond to my emails yet. However, when I do get a response, I will let you know promptly. I have sent him an email about this subject.

Heruursciences is selling elements as well? I didn't know that. Can you link me to his thread please so I can see what he's got? My supplier only has cesium and rubidium for the alkali metals, which are quite expensive and explosive, even more so than sodium. They are too dangerous for me to handle at the moment; I'm going for the halogens right now.

Not to sound callous here, but $75 for an ounce of sodium is a rip-off. Search for "sodium metal" on Google and you will get many results.

Okay. The GB doesn't end until May 8th, so feel free to let me know. I would like all payments in by the 6th if possible, but if not, PM me and we can work something out.
