We have different realities.  

The population of the entire country of Scotland is just over 5 million.  

The population of just SOUTHERN California is over 24 million!  

We have BIG telephone books

More people just means a higher number of wierdos and violent people around.

Plus the air quality sucks and the cost of an "average" two bedroom home is almost half a million dollars.

I'm in Glasgow, it might only have a population of about 600,000. But it's got more than it's fair share of weirdos and violent people running around. When you go to the shops and theres 12 year olds drinking tonic wine, you know something ain't right ;D

i prefer mouser over digi-key b/c the sites so much easier to use if your not sure exactly what your looking for...and digi-keys catalog isnt as big as mousers...maybe almost as big. i get a new one every 3-4 months.

Digi-Key sent a catalog to all of the TAs in my department. It's at least three times thicker than the phone book here!
