Most powerfull 638nm Build?

I have once build a 1+ Watt 638nm laser. The reading was with my old LPM. I am sure with the new LPM it will go over the 1.1Watt

@ Fiddy! Just checked your thread, as Im planning to give it another go with a new diode! ;) Anyway, I noticed you said you had used a 1050 mA 16 mode driver and then "added 2x AMC7135 chips to my driver giving it 1750mA on High."

Does this mean you had 5 chips and a total of 1750 mA, or its a typo and you actually used 4 giving 1400 mA?:beer:

Maybe not the highest but i bet it's the most stable over runtime

full 20 minute run, and by the end of it, it had retained 85% of its peak power.

Wow how did i not remember that? I am in New Zealand atm. Im pretty sure its 1750mA :-)

That is right. That is the Phobos from Eudaimonium.
You can stack the AMC7135 ic on top of each other. Looks ugly but it works :)
