I got this, one might not be the brightest but it still is pretty bright for such a small light and the build quality is awesome!

i wanted to make this one into a laser but when i got it i liked it to much as how it was so i kept it as a flashlight

I like the iTP A2, but they make a AAA version with an R5. If you don't mind frying the driver, you could try a 10440 and see if driver will DD it.

I just recently bought some of those A03 r5 lights and they are great. I think it's the best light for 20 bucks. I think the 10440's will work, but they recommend not using those because it will overheat really quickly.

I don´t have a real favorite.. here are some pros:

UltraFire Cree Q5: most powerful one, uses CR123 batt
Picco SA-R2: most beautiful one, smallest one
Photon Pro: lightest one, many modes, optional red light (thanks Jeff)
Photon Pro UV: strongest UV I´ve owned so far, also standard light option (thanks Jeff)

In fact, I have one. Very decent output of 123, and it wouldnt be too difficult to create a key ring attachment
