Hello guys,
I'm new to the 405nm lasers.I did some search on forum but I couldn't find a 1W 405nm laser.I have 1W 445nm from dragonlasers and very happy with it.My question is how much power you can get maximum from a 405nm handheld laser?
I saw 400mw 405nm from o-like and rayfoss for 100usd which is so cheap.I wonder if anyone on the forum can make 1W or higher as possible?

I wouldn't push a sf-bw512L 405 past 700mW or so using a 405-g-1.. probably 650mW using any other lens.. Doing it is just asking for trouble. The two I had die were due to back reflection.. and it didn't take much of a back reflection to do it either.. One died due to changing lenses. The other when I was fluorescing stuff at close range. Both that died were running about 750mW.
