Dutch, would you mind explaining why you are turning something around at a lose before you even get it? I'm sure you can understand why that set's off all kinds of warning bells. Please don't get me wrong, I am not accusing you of trying to scam anyone, it's just unusual.

The reason for this is that i like to have some options for future diodes so for that i orderd Maglight 2D with a FlexModP3 from Jayrob, this has a litle more output than the Survival Laser, the downside is that its HUGE as for this one its nice and small and still burns your face off with out warning

Unfortunate that you can't keep both. I keep both, and they are both really, really nice units in their own way, and have different niches (Survival Laser is smaller and lighter and handier, and is transformable with the extension tube; Jayrob 2D very impressive looking, very long duty cycle, and much more natural to hold and point (and huge fun) with the third party pistol-grip and trigger accessory).

I agree. I can't imagine having to decide over having just one laser. But I told him sooner or later he'll want something smaller than a camping flashlight.

It's a good solid laser with a bunch of power in a small package. I own one and imagine I will keep it for a long time. I'd love to get one of the battery extension tubes sometime in the future. If it were me I'd hang on to it.
