So it is intentional. You try to make yourself sound smarter by being intentionally obtuse

Your argument is what is known as an invalid analogy.

Even the statement above which you used to "explain" your earlier statement is internally inconsistent.

You remind me of The Sphinx from Mystery Men

You just became a person of interest

Peace,
dave

It was 474 earlier today, now its over 600... holy shit.

one down rep from dave gave me a negative 151 points.

In fact I have very very few downs but they all seem to stack up becuase I never had any ups when I arrived last month

another analogy

If you play with fire you will get burned (eventually is the assumption, you may not who knows)

that do it for you?

You know, if you put some of the effort you put into trying to sound smart, into actually reading and learning or doing some building and research, you could contribute something useful to the community. You don't have to feel that way about yourself.

I normally don't care. I believe that people have the right to be lazy and stupid. However, if you start spouting off bad or dangerous advice, refuse to admit your error, and then try to be cute defending your ignorance, it is time to act.

You have been given your chance to learn from your mistakes. As things are, I can only send a PM or email to c0ld. Be thankful that he is nicer (and busier) than I am. If it were up to me, you would already be in the wind. I'm sure that others will see through this charade soon as they have before. Most of the members here are smarter than you are used to dealing with. Perhaps you should listen to your own platitude.

This is the second time you've tried to play me (third if I count outside of the boards). Everybody gets one chance with me. You used yours up, refused to learn, and came again.

Peace,
dave

voltage doesnt matter but keep the larger voltage in the front

Okay, now you're just talking out of your ass. That wouldn't make a difference. It is a CIRCUIT. electrons flow AROUND the circuit. The ORDER in a pure series circuit doesn't matter one bit.

Not just talking out his ass. Talking out his ass in ways that are potentially dangerous to both the lasers and possibly the people handling those lasers.

In this case, yes. The current will be the same in all components of a series circuit according to Kirchhoff's current law. You are flat-out wrong when you say the order of components makes a difference.

voltage doesnt matter but keep the larger voltage in the front so dont put 9 into a 1.5 and you will be fine without question

+-+- =series so the voltage adds
+- connecting the two positive ends to the circuit= parallel
+-

you will be fine just dont mix like alkaline and lithium or anything

you shouldnt have troubles doing 1.5v <-- 9v but i wouldnt suggest it

I just read this.....

What !!!

In the front of what... the short bus you take...

Here you suggest that there is no trouble doing something
and here you contradict yourself

What !!!

What orifice are you pulling these nuggets of wisdom from....
If you have nothing to say that makes any sense or contributes
to the Forum community... then don't say anything...

@ Dave... I still think there should be an Automatic Ban on any
member that can accumulate 500 or more Neg Reps!!!

Jerry, as I said before, don't even try to understand what is he saying, as there is nothing to undestand.

Try 679 negative rep.
I believe that is the official record of LPF, is it not?

Hey c0ld or 2007Rev.... whoever you were...
Thanks for solving this Troll issue....:gj:

@Eud.... No... the new Record is 746 and it seems member
shockwave88 must think that he was not trolling.....

Alright... back to the Battery Question....

You can mix battery voltage if the same type of battery is used
for a short term test only...

Leaving the different voltage batteries connected to a load for a
longer period of time will inevitably discharge one of the batteries
before the other since they are not supplying the same current
due to the different voltages across the said batteries.... IMO

Correct me if I'm wrong....

The safe bet is to use the same type and voltage of battery...

I am disappoint of you guys... getting all trolled.

Unfortunately, in order to both get the person to open up and show who and what they are AND to give c0ld some evidence, it is sometimes necessary to bait the troll.

I never mix my Li-Ions, in fact, I don't even own anything that can fit 2 li-ions!

However, I like to feed my lasers Duraloops. Old habits die hard, and I like to use my Duraloops in matched-pairs. Well, one way or another, I left something on and one of my Duraloops leaked. It wasn't a lot, but I disposed of it anyways. So now I have 3 AAA Duraloops; one matched pair and a loner that doesn't match unless I charge all 3 (charger only charges pairs, so that ain't happening)

Basically, long story short, what about mixing NiMH same brand but different charge levels? Is slightly different voltages OK for short durations"?
