Mitsubishi 642nm 150mW CW Diode

Sell my Mitsubishi 642nm 150mW CW Laserdiode build into an Aixiz housing.
It works only 5mins for see that it works.
With a peltier you can drive the diode to ~200-250mW

No offense, but that price isn't going to fly here methinks. 650nm that people have over 300mW CW in handhelds with no peltier can be bought on here for less than $25. Is there anything special about it except it being 642nm instead of ~650nm?

200mW 640nm/642nm are as bright as ~400-500mW 655-660nm

Aren´t our diodes more towards 655-660? if so, that would be quite a difference...

I think our diode are all around 660nm range. color of 642 should be quite different from 660nm.

Well aren't the long open cans rated for 150mW? Then if you really wanted to, you could push this one to <300mW and it will be about 2-3x brighter!

Yikes! Thats kind of a lot of money BUT What if some had a group buy for them, >100 people? : Would it be possible to bring that down to a manageable price range?

Thanks, if they were under 100 bucks for >100 people it might actually be worth it, but I don't think a that many people would pay for a 100 dollar diode and it probably wouldn't even go that low anyways.
