may be a stupid quiestion, but which way does battery go??

just got my first green laser pointer, it is a 50 mw o-like with adjustable focus. it runs off a 18650 battery. i dont want to fry my laser so in any help as to which way to insert the battery would be great! thanks!

I think it is case positive.

The negative end goes in first.

My transformable 18650 is like that.

greens are case positive so you put the batteries negative(the flat side) side facing/touching the spring.

In my exeperience the positive pole is always opposite the exit of laser beam...

You wont fry your laser...


There's a regulator diode to absorb reverse voltage if you put the battery the wrong way...

Never heard of that, but I remember seeing one on every module I used.

And they are on Rkcstr, FlexDrive and DDL drivers.
