Making a 200mw burn like a 500mw?

You will need to do a little reading on the Forum...
The your questions have been answered many times
before...

1) Have no clue as to what part of the Globe you are on...
2) DX does not ship to the USA
3) You will never get 500mW out of a 500mW Laser from DX...

For clarifications on that... you will need to do some research
on the Forum on your own..:cool:

No, ofcourse not, the video is all a fake.

First, the laser is 200mW and you get a little gain (but not too much) changing batteries.

Second, this guy is a scam (or whatever you want to call him) ..... he's burning the paper with a lighter under it, in the last part of the video (never seen a laser that burn paper also where is not hitting it ? ..... :p :D


Edit: third, Jerry beatened me in speed another time :p

Oh, and by the way, never seen a red laser with a crystal DPSS unit, as he's saying in cooling part ? ..... LOL
 
Yikes. Good thing I posted on this forum first to let you guys check it out. Man, you respond fast!

I'll try to read/search some of the forums some more. But in general, is it worth trying to get stuff from DealExtreme? e.g. if the build quality isn't the best, are their prices still worth it?

Try the trade forums, especially the pro trade forum, somone here will be able to build you a top range diode burning laser for a great price!

damn it. Which part was a joke? So what power is needed to singe, burn, etc?

What should I buy or have someone build?
 
The part with the ice is a joke. The higher voltage CR2s will give you a small boost in power.
 
I just answered to his video. I don't care if it's a joke or not, people is believing his video lol
