thanks crazyk187!

most of the effects i created in the show are simple shapes like triangles, squares, and circles that i tortured by performing xyz rotational transforms and then creating out of phase duplicates.

there are some good tutorials on creating LSX abstracts on photonlexicon, but i can post some information here, if you're interested.

Naw, google T-Slot tubing. I'm proud to be one of the first to adopt that industrial CHEAP framing system to laser projectors. Used it at work, found it inexpensive, made projectors with it.

Swami, however, is using the uber cool ultra nice German Style T-Slot framing.

i kind of felt like i was building a satellite on my dining room table. i called it "swamilase" while i was designing it, but secretly i think of it as my satellite of love (with apologies to mst3k).

i built it as sections. the lower desk is the power supplies, and galvo amps. the top deck is lasers and optics.

here's the basic beam path:

here's an early construction pic of it before i mounted it in the frame.

and here's some fun dual projector/scan through effects i did with my friend karl from Laser Wizardry- "It's All Just Smoke and Mirrors"- State of The Art Laser Light Shows with award winning effects

this was experimentation. not a show, as my projector is not yet legal.
