Looking for a way to project image/halogram

Hi all,

I'm looking to project a company image/halogram. I discovered a 50mW green laser this past weekend and the thought sparked in my mind that using it as a marketing tool would be amazing (don't worry, i've spent over an hour reading posts on eye damage/safety precautions).

The only thing I've been able to come up with is someone recommended getting a custom diffraction grating. This could be an option but I'd have to hold the grating versus the image just being over the lens.

Thank you so much for any assistance you may be able to share.

Mike

I already replied to your post on Reddit... Anyway...

How much are you looking to spend?

A custom diffraction grating for a company logo is going to be expensive, at least for a small run. How many would you be looking to have made?

I guess you could use a hologram, but a one off for that may be too expensive for you to...

Not sure what you mean by that? Could you explain your thinking further?

What's stopping you from buying a normal PC projector and just outputting an image?

I recommend getting a used projector off ebay and using a PC or WiFi connection to put your image up.. they're much safer and they have full Color not just green.

When Paul comes back see what he says too, I believe he works with hologram setups at his home, or has in the past.
