looking for a high powered red!

i really want a red but not a pulsar cause i ain't buying anything from them. i know that i could make 1 for much cheaper but i just wan't a quick buy ;D you guys know any sites that sell highpowered reds cause i've checked tonnes of sites and all i could fine is an orion which was waaaaaay to expensive.

Get a couple GB diodes, an Aixiz module and build one That's what this hobby is all about -- design, build and impress us here with your ideas !!! By the way --- It's much cheaper to build your own.

ya i think you are going to have to build your own! actually "kenom" sels some eady made red laser flashlights, he tested them at about 170mw!!!

i just got into the hobby and have no clue as to how to build one :'( guess i'll be researching the forum all night  *violin music plays*  :'(

EDIT: looks easy and with GB diodes any red diodes will work right? and where do u get axixz modules? i searched it already.

oh yeah and anyone got pics of taking apart axixz to fit diode, i get how to put diode in but just not how to take apart axixz module as i haven't seen one yet :

hay things wer do u get aixiz modules i've searched google and this forum, no results :'(

oh and anyone got a vid or maybe some pics of taking apart aixiz modules and puting diode in, looks to easy :

I would love to have one but its just too expensive for me this year

btw Pulsars are not bad at all imo. I do agree that WL is not worth our money tho!

Hey if you want a good laser like a pulsar contact andy_con (a member here) They are in a pointer style case and they put out over 200mW, plus they're focusable! It's a way better deal than a pulsar.

lol it's me. If you try my way you might want to add small capacitor in parallel with the diode to eat any voltage spikes from the batteries. Although the one I made in that video is still working great, you may want to add a capacitor just in case you get a bad voltage spike and you lose a precious diode.

ye rofl, what are those glow torch things, they put like 200mw out or sumthin, is it a laser or a mod. i can't seem to find it but yeh DDL's torch mod looks good for me, i can't find a mini dorcy mod with pics tho :'(
