Be careful with krypton lamps. I got one thinking it was a xenon lamp.
I finally got it to go off !!!! BANG -- the high pressure lamp poped and cut my face a little - I had glasses on. The vendor refunded my money because he didn't know either that it was a high pressure krypton lamp and a few others had the same problem.
360 mfd at 450 volts ??? .5(360^-6) x 450^2) = 36.45 Joules. That might be too much for the dye cellI think 20 is about max as I recall. It is still potent and you NEED eye protection.
