List of diodes vs mW power output??

Is there a compiled list somewhere that will tell me what is a good "normal" output for various diodes.

Example:  
16X DVD = 200 mW output (red)
2X blu-ray = 110 mW output

etc.

i'd like to see some overview what diodes run at what values, what power is recommended for stable use, what is upper/lower threshold, and especially what current gives what output with what type of diode. so all of us who do not own a lpm could at least roughly estimate what output power we are dealing with.

i would volunteer to maintain an excel sheet or something, just hit me with your values. give as much info as possible.

I've actually been trying to gather info too. I want to start buinding, and this forum is FULL of info. But there SO much info, it's overwhelming. That would be awesome if you did an Excel sheet on the values, etc. that you mentioned. I would definatelty be interested in a copy.

i will do that if everybody posts his results here, or sents it to me via pm (i think posting here is the better idea). i don't have the time to gather the information from the forum here, esp. not with that search feature (no offense c0ldshadow, but that search is crap...).

Use Google. Add site:laserpointerforums.com to the end of your query.

that is only a slight (if at all) improvement, since the board search is already powered by google. still doesn't give me the ability to search for topics, titles, users, see my results in topics OR posts, search in single threads etcetc.

you can't even see the topic of the results, you have to click on every single one of them just to see in which section they are...
